MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His work has led to major international progress into the Latin popular music scene. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN The First Long-Player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached the number 8 spot at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna in their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He released in 2020 his second album charting Dopamina as well as co-produced Mala Influencia along with Noriel. Later in 2021 he was featured on a duet TINI on her smash streaming track Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo's parents and brothers were both musicians when the time he was born. In interviews he's talked about playing music as an obligation. As a child he learned to play saxophone guitar ukulele and piano. Though his original goal was to become veterinarian, his brother Julian got him to attend singing lessons from one of the Cuban.
